Constructed with 12mm tongue and groove shiplap cladding on 38mm square framing. Dip treated in wood preserver that gives a mid brown finish.The wire mesh used is 25mm square weldmesh, 16 guage ( 1.60mm thick )All fixings and hardware are zinc plated.Dimensions:Overall - 2100mm long x 1400mm wide x 1250mm highHouse - 850mm long x 1400mm wide x 800mm highSuitable for up to 6 birdsAn external nest box with two compartments provides roomy laying space. A hinged lid allows easy egg collection.There is a slide-out floor / droppings tray to make cleaning out an easy task. A lift off panel gives access to the house. There is a hinged door to access the run area. A vertically sliding pop hole gives birds access to run area. ( Will accommodate auto opener )The house is raised allowing the birds to use the full footprint of the arkThe area under the house is weather protected on two aspects giving daytime shelter from wind and rain plus shade in the summer. The side weather panel is removable and can be fitted left or right. An additional weather panel is available to give extra protection.The end panel under the house rotates 180 degrees and is designed to take a feed hopper. ( see below ) This feature allows easy access / filling of hopper and weather protection when closed.There is a removable panel at the end of the run. Let your hens free range or add an extension run. ( available soon )
